THE SITUATION

This company builds in one of the fastest-moving spaces in tech, during a stretch when developer attention was everything. The team was scaling and the stakes were high. It needed someone who could handle the operational work behind the scenes and the high-visibility moments in front of the developer community.

THE WORK

Two tracks, running in parallel.

On the events side, I designed and ran developer engagement in several formats: technical hackathons that showed off the platform, activations during one of the biggest weeks in the tech calendar, and community happy hours built for real relationships instead of surface-level networking. Each format needed different planning, different stakeholder management, and a different definition of success.

Beyond individual events, I built what makes the next one easier: vendor relationships, planning templates, budget processes, and post-event reviews that capture what was learned. On the executive side, I managed scheduling across time zones, drafted and handled sensitive leadership communications, and connected what leadership wanted with what the team was executing.

WHAT IT BECAME
