A Fast-Growing DTC Brand

Meta Creative Workflow · ClickUp · Google Drive · SOPs

THE SITUATION

This direct-to-consumer brand sells luxury display cases to collectors, has more than 150,000 customers, and runs Meta ads across several product categories. The pieces were already there: creators making UGC and other content, a video editor, and a team ready to work. What was missing was one clean, documented workflow tying them together, so the system could run without the founder managing the day-to-day.

THE WORK

I built one ad creative pipeline in ClickUp that carries every ad from idea to live to results. Each stage has a named owner and a clear handoff: brief, brief review, editing, edit review, upload, live, and a short performance check before an ad is archived. Approvals live in simple sign-off fields, so the statuses stay clean. And whoever finishes a stage adds the link before moving the task on, so a reviewer never has to go searching.

In Google Drive, three top-level folders hold everything: raw product assets, finished creatives, and briefs and scripts. Each creative concept gets one brief document, with a tab for direction, a tab for scripts, and a tab that lists every finished ad that came out of it.

One naming convention runs through all of it. The ClickUp task, the Drive file, and the Meta ad share exactly the same name, so any ad can be found from any direction.

I kept performance tracking deliberately small. Two questions matter: is Meta spending on this ad, and did it hit the cost target? And I fit the design to how this brand really advertises. At their budget and order values, a few bigger, clearly different creatives teach more than lots of small variations.

WHAT IT BECAME

A documented, repeatable creative pipeline with owners and handoffs named at every step, a Drive structure and naming convention that tie every ad back to its brief, and a short list of automations ready to switch on as volume grows.
