An Education Organization
Program & Product Management · Operations (ongoing)
THE SITUATION
This education organization is building two ambitious things at once: workforce development programs that connect underserved communities to real opportunity, and a platform linking professional athletes to educational pathways. A major new program with a regional economic development council was launching alongside both. The vision was there and the momentum was real. What it needed was an operational partner who could hold several high-stakes initiatives at once, build infrastructure without slowing execution down, and turn leadership's vision into something the team could run.
THE WORK
Two major initiatives, running at the same time, with different stakeholders, timelines, and measures of success.
For the athlete platform, I took ownership of the full product development cycle: structured phases with clear gates, coordination between developers, UX designers, and subject-matter experts, and communication rhythms that kept high-profile partners aligned without drowning anyone in meetings. Phases 1 and 2 are complete.
For the workforce program, I built the operational foundation from scratch: the interview process, content workflow systems, user journey maps for every stakeholder role, and coordination frameworks that keep distributed teams moving the same way. The program needed to scale quickly, and it did.
Alongside both, I work as an operational partner to the executive team, taking execution off their plates, improving alignment across teams, and making sure strategic decisions are made with the right operational context.
WHAT IT BECAME
Two initiatives moving forward, a workforce program with infrastructure it can scale on, and an executive team freed up to focus on strategy. The frameworks are built to be reused across the organization's other programs.
