Terms and conditions
Last updated October 26, 2026. All dates and times are Eastern Time.
These terms are between you and [LLC full legal name], doing business as AJ The Accomplice ("ATA," "we," "us").
Step One: Claude, set up for your business
In short: you pay half at checkout. The other half is charged automatically to the same card 3 weeks later. If your tools can't be connected, you get your money back. If you cancel within 24 hours of your first payment, you get your money back. The full terms below are what apply.
What you're buying
Claude set up on your real tools (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive or the Microsoft 365 equivalents, your meeting notes, and one project tool), a live connect-and-training call, an operating guide for your setup, and a first-week review. Team pricing covers up to five people.
Price and payment
- Founding price: $500 solo or $1,000 team, for first payments made by 11:59 pm on November 30, 2026. From December 1, 2026: $750 solo or $1,500 team.
- You pay in two equal payments. The first is taken at checkout. The second is charged automatically to the same card 21 days after the first.
- By paying, you authorize both charges. The date of the second charge is on your receipt.
- Claude itself is billed to you separately by Anthropic. It is not included in the price.
Timeline
- After your first payment you answer five setup questions and book your connect-and-training call (60 to 90 minutes). Please book the call within 7 days of paying. If the call is booked later, we may move your second payment date so it falls after delivery, and will tell you by email before it is charged.
- Delivery is within 5 business days of the connect call, subject to your team's availability to approve connections.
- Your operating guide is delivered within 7 days of the connect call.
- Your first-week review happens about 7 days after delivery.
- If we cannot deliver on this timeline, we will tell you and can cancel your second payment.
Cancellations and refunds
- Within 24 hours of your first payment: full refund, no questions, and the second payment is cancelled.
- After 24 hours: the first payment is not refundable, except as below.
- If your tools cannot be connected: you receive a full refund of what you have paid and the second payment is cancelled.
Support after delivery
For 14 days after delivery, you can ask questions and get help. Included: reconnecting a tool that stopped working, fixing wrong or empty answers, and returning the setup to how it was delivered. Not included: adding tools or people, rebuilding folders or accounts that you changed, or custom work. We will quote that separately and tell you before starting. Tailoring Claude more deeply to your business is a separate engagement (a Diagnose).
What you need to provide
- Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365 with an admin. Personal Outlook or Hotmail accounts cannot connect.
- Someone who can approve connections, and one contact who replies within 48 hours.
- A paid Claude plan billed to you, and meeting notes saved in a tool or a Drive folder.
- You sign in to your own accounts during the call. Never share your passwords with us.
Your data
- Claude can only see what you connect, for the people you approve. You own every account and can disconnect any time.
- Claude can read anything the connected account can open, so keep sensitive files out of connected accounts and folders.
- Step One is not a fit for medical, legal, or other regulated data.
- Claude drafts and you approve. It does not send messages to your customers on its own.
What we don't promise
We promise a delivery date, the operating guide, and the first-week review. We do not promise hours saved or perfect answers. Claude can make mistakes, so check anything important.

All other consulting services
This section covers any ATA consulting service other than Step One, such as a Diagnose, project builds, retainers, or ongoing support. Each engagement begins with a written proposal that sets the scope, price, payment schedule, and timeline. When you accept the proposal, it and these terms together are your agreement. If they conflict, the proposal controls.
Scope and changes
We do the work described in the proposal. Anything outside it, including new tools, new people, or extra deliverables, is quoted separately and agreed in writing before we start.
Payment
- Payment amounts and due dates are set in your proposal. Work may pause if a payment is late.
- Cancellation and refund terms are set in your proposal. If the proposal does not say, fees already paid for work already started are not refundable.
- Ending a retainer or ongoing engagement: unless your proposal says otherwise, either side must give 30 days' written notice (email is fine). You pay for the work and your agreed fees through the end of the notice period. Fixed-scope and phased projects follow the cancellation terms in their proposal instead.
- If something changes or you are thinking about ending early, tell us. We would rather talk it through than have an engagement end without notice.
- Discount or referral codes apply only to the services and dates stated when the code is offered, and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so in writing.
What we need from you
Timely access, decisions, and feedback. Delays on your side can move the timeline. You stay responsible for your accounts, your data, and your final decisions. We do not take over management of your business.
Confidentiality and ownership
- We keep your business information confidential and use it only to do the work.
- When you have paid in full, you own the documents and systems we build specifically for you. We keep our own methods, templates, and frameworks, including the Alias framework, and may reuse them.
Results and liability
We do not guarantee specific business results, revenue, or time saved. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.
Governing law
Florida law applies to these terms.
